“Stand firm, and you will win in life. – Luke 21:19
The crowds are roaring, chants echoing across the sky, and the warm rays of the sun brushing against each student of ICE. Proud teachers and coaches call out to each athlete, urging them to give it their all. Friends and foes dance and jump in support of those they believe in. Laughter and silliness touch everyone’s hearts. We may have provided our athletes with the energy to perform, but who gave them the determination to fight? It is our one and only Lord and Savior. He Himself has granted each athlete the strength to come first. They trusted Him and followed His lead, each step illuminated by His light. We even cheered for our opponents because He bestowed His everlasting love upon all of us. When the devil couldn’t reach us, God could, reminding us to continue believing in Him–never to falter, as He will lift our spirits when we begin to brood. Everyone can remain victorious in the palm of the Lord’s hands, as long as we let Him take control and keep Him imprinted in our souls.
